Besides Photoshop?

I like messin on photos and pictures I make with photoshop program which is great! But are there any nice programs like that to mess on phox and pix?

You can try the GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program) as an open source alternative. However, I warn you, it's no where near as good as Photoshop at the moment (still has problems with CMYK colour), and UI is nightmarish.

In fact, all it has over photoshop is the fact that it's free. I wouldn't recommend it on any professional-quality jobs, but it's fine as a simple program to mess around with.

The Gimp and Irfanview both work quite well for photo/image editing - and they are free...

It's normally for Linux/UNIX, but a Windows version is available. It's a great application once you get used to using it, and the controls and such are similar to Photoshop. In fact, their documentation provides information for Photoshop users.
