I want to download photoshop brushes, but it won't show up on photoshop when I try to load them

i made sure that it was 6.0 like my photoshop. is it because it's a ''zipped''/''compressed'' file? help!

First make sure you have placed it C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 6.0\Presets\Brushes

Unzip the files into that directory

EDIT: You can unzip them by simply double clicking the file and dragging the files in the directory folder with your mouse. If it actually another form of compression such as RAR or 7z then download and install 7zip. Then repeat the instructions above.
