how do you change the color of someomes eye, or hair, or something else on adobe photoshop 5.0?

but to do an eye:
open up the picture in AP5.0
zoom in on the eye part
take the lasso tool (between the magic wand and the rectangular tool)
put it on either magnet or just trace mode
outline the center of the eyeball (the part thats colored and the pupil)
then with the part outlined go up to filter
then from filter go to adjustments
from adjustments find photo filter
click the color box %26 mess around until you find the color you want
once you select the color increase the density
if your unhappy with that color then try again until you get the right one

I'll tell you from Adobe Photoshop 7, and you see if you can use it. After your image is in your workspace, go to Layers at the top, click, scroll down to Duplicate Layer,click. Go to the Foreground chart,(bottom left, two squares almost next to each other, the one on the left, sorry if you already know this), and click on it. In the Color Picker Chart that comes up, move the slider up, or down to get the Color you want for the eyes, and moving the circle around with your mouse, click on the hue. Click on OK. Go over to the Tool menu on the left side of your workspace, choose the Brush Tool,(should be about the fourth, or so, tool down on the right side of your tool menu,[not History Brush!]. If you hover your mouse over each tool in your tool menu, the name pops up. Right clicking on each tool that has a little triangle shaped arrow in the corner, gives you all the options for that tool.) After choosing Brush Tool you can set the Opacity,(how dark, or light the hue of the color you want), to whatever percentage you want by clicking on the arrow to the right of the Opacity window, and when the slider bar drops down, just move the slider to the Opacity you want, or click on the bar, and the slider moves to that point. Go to the top, under Brush click the arrow to the side of it, and use the chart to pick a Hard brush,(top of the chart up to about 19, or a Soft brush,(bottom of the chart below the Hard brushes), and pick the size you want. I use a size that fit's the cornea of the eye, but sometimes there's a glint of light that shows up as white in the eye, and you don't want to tint that.Click at a Opacity of 5 to 10% to start with to see how that does. I zoom in to about 500 to 600% to tint then zoom out to 100% to see how it actually looks.You can gently with a Soft brush change the color of hair too! Usually using filters this effect can be achieved. 1st select the area you want to change, then hit ''ctrl J''. This new layer can be edited using any filter you want now. Top tabs select image%26gt;adjustments%26gt;color filter%26gt; enjoy
