Adobe Photoshop 6.0?

I'm using Adobe PhotoShop 6.0, I need to know how to remove an item from a picture and add something else into its place. Also I'm wanting to make the picture Bigger, and things right next to the picture, any Idea how?

Use the layers option first and then play around with it. Or use the help option in the menu bar.

open new empty file..

select the item that you want to remove.

drag the item to the new file

continue this process if you want to add something else into its place..

to make the picture bigger? what pic? overall pic or the pic that you select only??
