Hi, i often do photo editing in my spare time. I like making the one person appear multiple times in the one scene and doing things such as putting a person inside a bubble. Mainly just fun things rather than anything serious! I have just been using free programs, but i recon if i had a paid version i would have things done in much less time. For example i believe in photoshop you can match up background colours in seperate photos quickly and easily instead of having to do it manually.
What version of photoshop? or indeed another photo editing program would be the best for me? I see that some of the photoshop programs cost over $600 which is quiet expensive for a hobby!
If anyone can suggest a program I would be deligted to hear your advice...Thanks

I would suggest GIMP. I have personally never used it, but have heard many great things about it. And best of all, it's free.

Photoshop is too expensive for someone who doesn't want to do anything overly complex with it.
Don't get anything lower than 6.0, although the newer, the better. While everyone had CS2, I was still happy with my 7.0. Each addition, they just add new features, like new paintbrushes and imaging effects and the such. So unless you're dead set on having it totally up-to-date, I'd settle for the older editions. Plus, it won't matter that much if you're only doing it for leisure and you're not a professional graphic designer.
the cost of the software is very high when compared to all.. better try to download while in torrent u get full version with plug ins also to with it... try to get the software torrent file in "isohunt.com %26torrentz.com" ....

you can buy a used 6.0 (which is basically the same program though out-of-date) for about 100 online or you can probably find it cheaper on Ebay or Craigslist.
