Computer/Photoshop help???

Okay I'm PRETTY sure my comp doesn't have a virus or anything, it's not acting weird and if it did I'm sure my anti virus would catch it. But my photoshop program isn't functioning normally. Every time I tell it to do something it won't, so basically it's not working at all. Sometimes it doesn't want to open an image and stuff. Anyone know what might be wrong? Cuz I swear this wasn't happening yesterday, or whenever I last used it.

I don't wanna have to re-install it. Not that I could anyways, my brother has the disk for that. So anyone know how I can fix this without re-installing it?

Desaturated Photos from Adobe Photoshop?

I have a great picture. But when I go to edit it in Adobe Photoshop and save it as anything other than Adobe psd, I get this desaturated effect that spreads through all my photos. The colors are completely desaturated. It's fine under Adobe psd, and I can view the true colors within Photoshop, I just can't save that as any other format without losing color. I have set the color space to be matchin sRGB, I have used 8-bit RGB consistently with psd files and jpeg and tiff files. The jpeg and tiff just come out desaturated. I can't get it to work at all. I'm not doing any modifications that can't show on JPEG, I am very, very lost. Thank you for your help.

Desaturated Photos from Adobe Photoshop?computer

Do you have an imbedded profile?
Maybe you should try converting the RAW pics in another software then take then to photoshop to edit. I have never had any desaturation problems when saving from photoshop to jpeg, but I don't use RAW files because I work with TV graphics, but possibly photoshop doesn't process the RAW files properly so the conversion to jpeg is damaged.

I have just recently gotten the software for Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended though, when I go to install it, an error message occurs saying my Windows System is not up to date and that I either have to have WIndows Service Pack 2 or over or Windows Vista to be able to run %26 install the program.

Do I have to have Windows Service Pack 2 AND Windows Vista, or just one of them?

Plus, is there any way I can get either upgrades for free? Or do I have to buy them?

Service Pack 2 is for Xp. So you need either XP-SP2 or Vista.

Go to windowsupdate.com and get your computer updated to newest versions.

On my photoshop, it doesn't allow me remove anything as far as head shots, faces, eyes, etc. what can I do to fix this problem? I was told to just click erase but there is not an erase button, can anyone help? Edit allows me to do everything except remove a face!!!

You could try to use the Cut tool (scissors) or the Marquee tool to select/wrap around the face and then delete it.

You cannot scan pictures and make them into an actual fluid animation.

Also, Photoshop is not an animation software. It can implement animations, but it is not actually an animation software.

Use Adobe Flash CS3 for animating. You should scan the pictures into consecutive frames of a Flash timeline in order to make the ''animation'' that you are looking for. However, this ''animation'' will be in the style of a flip-book animation.
