When you are installing the program, right after you put in the serial number, what is ''file association''? This is exactly what it says, ''Select the file types you would like photoshop(PS) or ImageReady(IR) to open and specify which application for each type. Select NoChange (NC) to keep teh current selection''.

On my photoshop, it doesn't allow me remove anything as far as head shots, faces, eyes, etc. what can I do to fix this problem? I was told to just click erase but there is not an erase button, can anyone help? Edit allows me to do everything except remove a face!!!

You could try to use the Cut tool (scissors) or the Marquee tool to select/wrap around the face and then delete it.

You cannot scan pictures and make them into an actual fluid animation.

Also, Photoshop is not an animation software. It can implement animations, but it is not actually an animation software.

Use Adobe Flash CS3 for animating. You should scan the pictures into consecutive frames of a Flash timeline in order to make the ''animation'' that you are looking for. However, this ''animation'' will be in the style of a flip-book animation.

the lasso tool might have been replaced by another tool sharing the same block. click on the icon where the lasso 'existed before' - a dropdown menu will appear - pick lasso tool from there!

I want 2 use filter stuff in photoshop. I want to be able 2 have only one color in the picture. I've seen it in quad movies before and stuff and over the color blue will be in the picture.. Select the color you want your image to be. Then under image - hue saturation, select the check box ''colorize'' and the image will only be that color.

You can do this in PhotoShop, but you don't use a filter. There's a menu, it's like 3rd or 4th from the left that has an option to mess with color levels for the current layer, you can mess with RGB and make it darker or lighter, or you can selectively turn down red, green or blue. I think this is what you want. I think it's called 'Levels' or something like that. Another menu option close by to that one messes with hue, saturation and tone and is also useful for tweaking an image's color.
There are a number of ways to accomplish what you want, and it might require some experimentation on your part as you learn Photoshop through use.
